I think this is a reasonable requirement because the problem that most students have when using the Internet to study is that they often end up checking their social media accounts or playing computer games. I mean, the Internet is just a big distraction. When they are cut off from such activities on computers in the library, students are able to concentrate better on their study and improve their study efficiency. Because when you are using a library computer, the only thing you should be doing is searching information and data for your school projects, definitely not sending emails or having fun.
