看中文就知道，Would you like to...会用在比较正式的场合，以示尊重、客气。当同我们对话的这个人是长辈、老板、客户或是第一次见面的人，就可以用这个句型提问。但是如果对话的气氛是很轻松的，那么这样说也行：

Do you want to try on this pair of jeans?

你要试穿一下这条牛仔裤吗？（请和4颗星例句比较）

2. 比较级＋than... 比……

►Tom is taller than Jason. ☆

汤姆比杰森高。

►Jason is more good-looking than Tom. ☆ ☆

杰森比汤姆长得好看。

►This T-shirt is much cheaper than that one. ☆ ☆ ☆

这件T恤比那件便宜得多。

►The house is much more beautiful than the former one. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

比较级是不是看起来有一点复杂？有的时候词尾有-er，有的时候又变成前面加more，还有much又在凑什么热闹？其实，如果形容词（像tall, small, big）只有一个音节，只要在词尾加上-er就变成了比较级。而那些音节比较多的形容词（像good-looking, beautiful, convenient），就要在它们前面加上more。至于much，就是中文里“……得多”的意思，有强调的意味喔！

3. If... 如果……

►If you have a smaller one, I think I’ll buy it. ☆

如果你有小一点的，我想我就会买了。

►If it rains tomorrow, you won’t see me at school. ☆ ☆

如果明天下雨，你就不会在学校看到我。

if从句在英文世界里有非常广泛的用法喔！在上面这5个例句中我们只使用了几种：

(1) 一般现在时——当你想跟别人说“如果（发生了什么事），我就（不/会怎么样）”，而且这件事情很有可能发生，你就可以参考1和2颗星的用法。
