大家在提醒别人“你最好怎样怎样”时，不是常常会接一句“不然你会怎样怎样”吗？英文也是一样喔！在You’d better...后面，经常会再接上or 或or else开头的句子。例如：
You’d better stay out of the rain, or else you’ll get wet.
你最好不要去淋雨，不然你会被淋湿。
2. It takes sb some time to... 花某人的时间做某事
►It takes me 10 minutes to finish the cake. ☆
我吃完蛋糕要花十分钟。
►It took me 10 minutes to finish the cake. ☆ ☆

这个句型用现在时（it takes...）与过去时（It took...）到底有什么差别呢？用现在时的话，表示无论何时，做这件事都会花差不多那么久的时间，不会改变。而用过去时的话，则表示之前某一次做这件事花了这么长的一段时间，但不代表每一次一定都会花同样的时间。举例来说，上面一颗星的句子表示这个人每次吃完蛋糕都差不多要花十分钟，而两颗星的句子则表示他这次花了十分钟吃完蛋糕，但以后也有可能只花五分钟。
3. I am sure (that)... 我肯定……
►I am sure that you’ll be fine. ☆
我肯定你会好好的。
►I am sure that nothing bad will happen. ☆ ☆
我肯定不会发生什么坏事。
►I am sure that we can do this if we try. ☆ ☆ ☆
我肯定如果我们尝试的话，就一定能做到。

I am sure that...这个句型虽然表达的是“我肯定……”的意思，但其实后面接的通常都是一些不完全确定的事！像“天空是蓝的、地球是圆的”这种本来就很确定的事，你还在前面加“我肯定”，就多余了嘛！所以以上例句都是说话人的个人看法喔！
