在10张卡片上分别写上从1到10的数字,并发给10个孩子。与孩子们一起唱下面的数数歌谣。当唱到某个数字的时候,拿着这个数字的小朋友要将数字举过头顶。
当唱完之后,将数字卡片乱序重新分发给不同的孩子,重新开始游戏。
不但要正着能数数,也要能倒着数数。可以用任何其他物体来数数,例如西瓜(watermelon)、小狗(dog)等。
如果没有10位小朋友,可以让每位小朋友拿多张卡片。当唱到某个数字时,拿着此数字的小朋友不仅仅是举起数字,还可以站起来。

首先准备阿拉伯数字“1~12”的卡片及英文数字单词“one~twelve”的图片。然后家长和孩子一起看这些图片,并数数one, two,…twelve,再说出这些阿拉伯数字都像什么,例如1像一根棍子,2像嘎嘎叫的小鸭,3像耳朵,4像个小旗子等。可以让孩子根据自己的想象说出这些数字都像什么。
然后家长唱下面这首“数字歌”。家长和孩子边唱儿歌边表演动作。

外出游玩时,可与孩子一起数数各种小花有几朵花瓣,每人抓一把树叶数数等。
家长可以利用生活中的各个环节引导孩子学习手口一致地点数,数对了家长要及时赞扬,鼓励一定会让孩子乐于数数。当发现孩子不能正确地手口一致地点数时,家长可以让孩子放慢速度,看一个物体点数一个数,逐步掌握口报数与点数动作的一一对应。

中文里有很多带数字的歌谣,像“一二三四五,上山打老虎”、“一二三四五六七,我的朋友在哪里”等,在英文中也有很多数字歌谣。下面的歌谣都朗朗上口,适合小孩子学唱。而且这些歌谣都是很好的拍手歌,即家长带孩子边有节奏地念歌谣,边拍手。注意节奏要正确。不但可以自己双手拍,也可以两人对坐,互相拍手。类似中文里“你拍一,我拍一,两个小孩坐飞机”这样的拍手游戏的玩法。
