Hybrid vehicles have two power plants—a diesel or petrol engine for highway driving，and emission-free electric motors for city use.

The system uses rotors mounted parallel to drive shaft for the length of the vehicle and winds up unused energy as vehicles freewheel down hills.It is unleashed for use in electric motors when required.The system also captures energy released by braking and stores it as electricity for later use.
