According to the educators, the purpose of high school education not only includes helping the students acquire knowledge and training them to learn skills, but also consists of making students better and more independent learners so that they can continue to educate themselves after they graduate.From my perspective, the most effective way of high school teaching is lecturing by the professor.

I have to admit that sometimes discussions and projects are not only significantly helpful but also indispensable in students’ learning.In detail, discussion provides the students with a platform for them to share ideas, help each other brainstorm, and form the ability of critical thinking.With the supportive attitude the teacher provides and light atmosphere created by class discussions, students can be inspired easily from time to time and analyze the text with a deeper understanding.Doing projects, especially group work, is also excellent for students to use what they learned in the classroom to solve real-life problems, and it is also a great way of cultivating students’ interest and ability in academic research.
