The sum of the resistance of the earthing electrode or natural earthing substance with respect to earth and that of earthing conducter is referred to as the earthing resistance of earth-termination system.It equals to the quotient of the voltage of earth-termination system with respect to earth to the current transmitted through earthing electrode to earth.
