Inspection of Materials and Apparatus

5.0.1　The raw materials and apparatus used for projects shall comply with the following requirements：

1　Ex-work quality certificates for the right batch of products shall be available；

2　Quality inspection and test information as required by the current national or industrial standards shall be available；

3　Sand，stone and other materials that are selected according to the local specific conditions shall be sampled in accordance with the relevant current standards and can only be used after being tested qualified by the competent organization；

4　In case of any doubt about the product quality or test results，the witness sampling shall be repeated，and the materials shall be tested by competent organization and shall only be used when they are qualified.

5.0.2　Re-inspection shall be performed on raw materials and apparatus if any of the following cases occurs：

1　Expiration of safekeeping period；

2　Possibility of deterioration due to poor safekeeping；

3　The raw materials and apparatus are not sampled according to the relevant procedures or the samples as taken are not representative or in insufficient quantity.

5.0.3　The new materials and apparatus involved in the project shall only be used after they are tested qualified and verified by relevant departments.

5.0.4　For materials and apparatus fabricated on-site，the fabrication methods shall meet the design requirements and the fabricated products shall meet the requirements of design quality standards.

5.0.5　Prior to works，the personnel shall inspect the safekeeping time，packaging，appearance，sizes，quantity，maintenance conditions of raw materials and apparatus and reject any unqualified materials and apparatus.

5.0.6　The type，models，sizes and properties of welding electrodes，welding wires and welding fluxes used for steel-steel and steel-copper welding shall be compatible with the metals to be welded.Before welding，the welding procedures shall be checked and evaluated to be in compliance with the relevant regulations.

5.0.7　The cables and accessories shall be selected according to the design requirements and complete with ex-works quality certificate and related technical documents，and，before use，shall pass the routine tests according to the relevant regulations.
