作品于2008年受“辉煌岁月——纪念改革开放30周年交响音乐会”委约创作，原名《新赋》，后由作曲家修改后于2011年定名。作品试图以快速旋转的舞曲性格，来描绘作者心中的新时代特征：活力、开放、海纳百川的气度与令人瞩目的发展速度。
This piece, with its original title New Fu, was commissioned by “The Glory days: symphonic concert for 30th anniversary commemoration of china's reform era” in 2008, and was modified afterwards by the composer himself. It was finalized in 2011. By the means of implementing fast rotating dance style, the composer attempted to describe the characteristics of the new era from his own perspectives: vitality, opening-up, tolerant attitude and notable speed.
