推理判断题通常是根据文章、段落或句子的意思来推理判断说话人、作者或其他人的意图。通常分为：文章出处，读者对象、作者观点及写作意图等。
1. 文章出处
①turn off是固定短语，意为“关掉”。
如：You'd better turn off the TV and go out for a walk. 你最好关掉电视出去散散步。
②fancy doing sth “热衷/喜欢做某事”。
如：Fancy playing computer games too much is bad. 过分热衷玩计算机游戏是有害的。

2. 读者对象 ， 以及作者观点 、 写作意图
我们在做英语阅读理解题时，如果要判断短文适合的对象，那就要认真阅读文中细节并从中寻找到关键的线索，来分析推理作者所写内容的目标对象。先要把握整个语篇的主旨大意，其次要抓住语篇中描述作者写作对象的一些特色语句或语录，最后根据逻辑推理来判断短文所指的读者对象。作者的观点态度通常有以下几种：支持、反对、赞同、怀疑、批评等。这类题目的设置方式常有：What does the writer think of...？What does the writer want to tell us？What can we learn from the passage？等。作者在写作时往往不直接表明自己对某事或某人的观点、态度和倾向，这就需要我们在通读全文时，去认真理解、把握和领略全文的中心思想或主旨大意来判断作者的写作意图或观点。
