This Standard specifies the requirements for materials，design，fabrication，assembly，welding，inspection，testing and acceptance of vertical cylindrical steel welded low-pressure storage tanks.
This Standard is applicable to design，construction，inspection and acceptance of the tanks at design pressure（gauge）not greater than 0.1MPa，vacuum not lower than-0.49kPa and design temperature higher than-20℃but not exceed 120℃，that hold or store liquids at ambient temperature with gas or vapor space at the top of tanks.
