Based on the former issuance of Code for Design of Blast Furnace Ironmaking Plant (GB 50427 2008),this Code was developed by CISDI Group Co.,Ltd.together with the participating compilers in accordance with the requirements of Notice on Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan of Engineering Construction Standards and Codes in 2013(JIAN BIAO〔2013〕No.6)issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban‐Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.
During the revising process,the Code development team has made comprehensive study and collection of the experience of blast furnace ironmaking engineering for years.They have widely solicited the comments and suggestions from China's blast furnace producers,research&design institutes and universities.In the framework of national prevailing laws,regulations,policies and standards,this Code was seriously reviewed,verified and finalized.
This Code comprises 21 Chapters.The main contents are:General Provisions,Terms and Symbols,Basic Requirements,Feedstock,Fuels and Technical Indicators,General Layout and Transportation,Ore Bin,Coke Bin and Charging System,Blast Furnace Top,Blast Furnace Proper,Tuyere Platform and Casthouse,Hot Stove,Slag and Hot Metal Treatment,Coal Pulverization and Injection,Blast Furnace Blasting,Blast Furnace Gas Cleaning and Pressure Recovery Turbine,Electrical and Automation,Water Supply and Drainage,Heating and Ventilation,Energy Efficiency and Medium Piping,Architecture and Structure,Laboratory Facilities,Safety and Environmental Protection.
The main revised contents in the present version of Code are:
1)addition of sections of General Layout and Transportation,Blast Furnace Blasting,Heating and Ventilation,Architecture and Structure,and Laboratory Facilities;
2)modification of some provisions for Feedstock,Fuels and Technical Indicators,Blast Furnace Top,Blast Furnace Proper,Tuyere Platform and Casthouse,Hot Stove,Slag and Hot Metal Treatment,Coal Pulverization and Injection,Blast Furnace Gas Cleaning and Pressure Recovery Turbine;and
3)supplement and completion of sections of Electrical and Automation,Water Supplyand Drainage,Energy Efficiency and Medium Piping,and Safety and Environmental Protection.
The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly.
