5.2.1 The site selection investigation is designed to select a site complying with gedogical and hydrogedogical requirements of the water-sealed cavern storage project.At least two candidates shall be considered.
5.2.2 The site selection investigation report shall include the following contents:
1 The basic conditions of the site candidates in terms of topography，geology，hydrology，meteorology，earthquake，and transportation；
2 Site candidate comparison and site recommendation；
3 1∶10000 integrated engineering gedogical map of the recommended site；
4 Geophysical prospecting results of the recommended site；
5 Total area of available rock mass and axis direction，burial depth，height，and span of the cavern（s）；
6 Unsolved problems and suggestions.
