A valve provided with both large and small suction/vent holes,it is used for rapid venting air in the pipe when the pipe is filled with water,rapid introducing air into the pipe when negative pressure is generated in the pipe,and venting the small amount of air accumulated in the pipe at operating pressure.
Note:Vent valves may be classified into integrated type and split type depending on their construction.
