4.2.1 Locations of control room buildings shall comply with Section 5.2 of GB 50160-2008.
4.2.2 Locations of control room buildings for process plants in different capacities shall comply with the following requirements:
a）The control room building for multiple process plants should be located inside battery limit，and shall be sited outside of the explosion hazardous area；
b）The control room building for a process plant should be located inside battery limit，and shall be sited outside of the explosion hazardous area.
4.2.3 For process plant involving with combustible，explosive，toxic and hazardous fluids，dust，water mist or corrosive fluids，their control room buildings should be located at the leeward side of wind direction with minimum frequency throughout the year in the area.
4.2.4 Control room buildings should not be located close to the main roads for material transportation.
4.2.5 Control room buildings shall be located far away from strong noise emission sources.
4.2.6 Control room buildings shall be sited away from vibration sources and places where significant electromagnetic interference exists
4.2.7 Control room buildings shall not be located adjacent to hazardous chemical warehouses.
4.2.8 Control room building should not be located adjacent to general substation building，area substation building，and if unavoidable due to constraints，the control room building shall not share one building with them.
