Foreword

This Code is developed by Tianjin Jinnaida Furnace Building and Lining Co．,Ltd．and Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Corporation in cooperation with Sinopec Engineering Incorporation,Material College of Southwest University of Science and Technology and Sinopec Fourth Construction Co．,Ltd．under administration of China Petrochemical Corporation in accordance with the requirements of the Document Jian Biao[2006]No．136 issued by the former Ministry of Construction(MOC)of the People s Republic of China‐Notice on Printing the Plan for Developing and Revising National Engineering Construction Standards(2 ^nd Group)in 2006．

In preparing this Code,the development team made special studies and extensive investigations,summarized the practices on heat‐insulating and abrasion‐resistant lining in recent years,solicited the comments from the engineering,construction and supervisory contractors,and finalized this Code after rounds of discussions on the main issues and concerns．

This code mainly covers the general provisions,terms,lining design,lining materials,lining application,quality inspection,patch‐up and repair,lining heat drying,and acceptance inspection．

The provisions printed in bold are compulsory and must be enforced strictly．

The Ministry of Housing and Urban‐Rural Development of the People s Republic of China is in charge of administration of this Code and explanation of its compulsory provisions,China Petrochemical Corporation is responsible for its routine management,and Tianjin Jinnaida Furnace Building and Lining Co．,Ltd．is tasked for explanation of specific technical contents．All relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up your experiences in actual practices during the process of implementing this Code．The relevant comments and information can be fed back to Tianjin Jinnaida Furnace Building and Lining Co．,Ltd．(Address:180 Shiji Road,Binhai New Area(Dagang),Tianjin 300270)as a reference for revising this Standard in the future．
