3.4 Types and Arrangement of Anchors

3.4.1 Cylindrical anchors,end plates and hexmesh shall be used as the anchor assembly for double layer heat‐insulating and abrasion‐resistant lining with hexmesh,and shall comply with the following requirements:

1 The specification of cylindrical anchor shall conform to Figure 3.4.1‐1;

2 The specification of end plate shall conform to Figure 3.4.1‐2;

3 The arrangement of cylindrical anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.1‐3;

4 The size of hexmesh should be 1200mm×3000mm,the thickness of steel strip should be 1.75mm or 2mm,and the width of steel strip should be 20mm or 25mm;

5 The typical structural form of hexmesh shall conform to Figure 3.4.1‐4.If other structural form is used,it shall be specified in the design documents.

3.4.2 Ω‐anchor(Figure 3.4.2)should be used as the anchor for single‐layer heat‐insulating and abrasion‐resistant lining without hexmesh,and dual‐layer ring anchor(Figure 3.4.4)may also be used.The arrangement ofΩ‐anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.2(b),and the arrangement of dual‐layer ring anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐2(b).

3.4.3 One or more combinations of anchors shall be selected for single layer abrasion‐resistant lining or highly abrasion‐resistant lining without hexmesh based on the shape of location where anchors are used,and the specifications and arrangements of anchors shall comply with the following requirements:

1 The specifications and arrangement of Y‐anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐1.

2 The specifications and arrangement of ring anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐2.

3 The specifications and arrangement of S‐anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐3.

4 The specifications and arrangement of V‐anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐4.

3.4.4 Dual‐layer ring anchor(Figure 3.4.4)shall be used as anchor for double layer heat‐insulating and abrasion‐resistant lining without hexmesh and the arrangement of dual‐layer ring anchors shall conform to Figure 3.4.3‐2(b).

3.4.5 Number of anchors required per square meter of lining shall conform to Table 3.4.5.
