Inventor. Pioneer. Genius. Tony Stark is all of the above, and he’d be the first to say so!
In fact, he’s much more. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
After the unfortunate death of his father, Howard Stark, Tony became responsible for his father’s megasuccessful company, Stark Industries, at only twenty-one years old! Stark Industries developed and built state-of-the-art weapons and sold them around the world. Tony didn’t care what happened to the weapons after they were sold; he just wanted to be rich!
Then one fateful day, during a top-secret weapons test, Stark was ambushed by a gang of heavily armed criminals and taken prisoner. He was critically wounded and told he had only a short time to live. With Stark weakened, the criminals forced him to build a weapon for them—a weapon of mass destruction. But Stark had other plans! He forged an incredible suit of armor and a miniature arc reactor to power it and keep his heart beating.
With his new arsenal, Stark defeatedthe criminals and escaped. He vowed from that day forward that he would use his scientific knowledge to help people all over the world.
He upgraded the suit of armor and became the invincible !
