法国现实主义诗学中的“真实效应”论

内容提要: 法国现实主义文学研究中存在一条独特理论思考路径,大致始于19世纪中期的尚弗勒里,经由罗兰·巴特一直延续至以菲利浦·哈蒙为代表的今日法国诗学研究中。在这一现实主义诗学框架内,文学作品所描绘的“现实”被理解为一种“真实效应”,也就是作品达到的令读者信以为真的效果,而诗学的任务是对这种“真实效应”的形成机制进行分析。当下最能代表这一诗学研究倾向的是菲利浦·哈蒙及他意图构建的“现实主义风格学”。从根本上说,这一现实主义研究路径关注的是现实世界成为文学真实的过程,对这一过程的分析与探讨对现实主义文学创作与理解均具重要启示价值。

Title: The“Real Effect”Theory in French Realist Poetics

Abstract: There is a unique theoretical thinking approach in the study of French realist literature,which started from Champfleury in the mid-19th century,continued through Roland Barthes to the current French poetics research represented by Philippe Hamon.Within the framework of realist poetics,the“reality”depicted in literary works is understood as“real effect”.That is,the works could achieve the effect that readers accept the“reality”as truth.The task of poetics is to analyze the formation mechanism of this“real effect”.On behalf of this poetic research tendency,the most representative is Philippe Hamon and his“realist stylistics”.In essence,this realist research approach focuses on the process in which the real world becomes literary reality.The analysis and discussion on this process would significantly enlighten the creation and understanding of literary realism.
