Wang Yuewen is a well-known contemporary author in China. He serves as the chairman of Hunan province's Provincial Writers' Association. His published works include, but are not limited to, the novels: Prime Minister of the Qing Dynasty, Canghuang; Betwixt Dawn and Dusk, Departed Soul Bird, and The First Year of the Calendar of Love , in addition to short story collections: Water Village and A Winter without Snow , and prose collections: The Cost of Humour. He has been honored as a recipient of the following awards: the Lu Xun Prize for Literature, the Hunan Province Prize for Innovation in Literature, and the Hunan Province Prize for the Literary Arts.
