About ten years have passed since Prof. Dai Jian-Guo 戴建國 found the Tiansheng Ling in the Tianyige Library in Ninbo City. But the chronological examinations on the articles of the Tang Statutes included in the Tiansheng Ling have not been discussed enough except in the Dai's essays which argued that they are the articles of the Tang Statutes edited in Kaiyuan 開元 25 year (A. D. 737). In this brief essay the author re-examined the articles of the Tang Statutes included in the Tiansheng Ling, and confirmed that they must be edited in Kaiyuan 25 year because an article contains the term Zhongshu menxia 中書門下 which was established in Kaiyuan 11 year. But Taiyuan Fu 太原府 which was renamed in Kaiyuan 11 as the third capital of the Tang Dynasty is not found in the articles of the Tang Statutes remaining in the Tiansheng Ling. This phenomenon suggests that some articles were changed after the issue of an edict but some articles were not changed because the same edict itself was included in newly edited Regulations Ge 格 or Gehouchi 格後敕 in Tang China.
