John wants to buy a laptop. Now he is bargaining with the seller.
John: What's the price of the laptop?

这里的 top 修饰名词 dollar ，显然是形容词，大家都知道形容词 top 意思是“最高的”，那么 top dollar 的意思是：最高价格。
