Traffic Rul

Essay 短文

Go when the traffic light is green, stop when it's red and wait for a moment when the light is yellow, which is the basic traffic rule. In daily life, there are various traffic rules. A good driver must buckle up,never drunk drive, stop at a stop sign, and put the children in back! A qualified driver should not only know how to drive a car but also drive according to the rules. He knows different kinds of traffic signs, such as, no horn, no U turn, elevated road, detour, road closed, landslide and so on. He never drives on the single lane but drives at a limited speed.Pedestrians should follow their own rules as well. They must walk along the right and take the zebra crossing when crossing the road and don't climb the guardrail. Nothing can be accomplished without norms and standards. However, many people ignore the traffic rules, which leads many traffic accidents and tragedies. So we cannot put too much emphasis on the importance of traffic safety.Only when all of us are aware that traffic safety is everybody's business can we be safe when driving on roads or walking on sidewalks.
