① take a closer look at意为“仔细看一看，靠近看一看”，其包含着两种意思，一种是“距离”上的近距离看某物，另一种是仔细研究的意思。
② be subject to意为“受支配，从属于，有……倾向的”，有经某人详细审核的意思，subject在此是形容词，更多指的是一种条件、规定、状况以及情形；与其类似的be subjected to强调的是动作，若是表示“不情愿或者被迫的经历”则常用后者。
③ make an order意为“预购，下订单”，与place an order有着同样的意思。
④ get sb on board with sth意为“让某人参与到某件事中”，而单独的on board则指“在船上（飞机上/火车上等）”。
⑤ remain valid意为“依然有效，保持有效”，是动词+形容词的一个表语词组，也常用remain open表示这个意思。

报价也被称为报盘、发盘和发价，通常是在询盘之后发出，不过也可以在没有询盘的情况下直接发出。报价，可以是卖方的行为，也可以是买方的行为，但通常情况下卖方报价居多。报价是有有效期的，指的是当时的报价一般会有明确的日期约束，因为市场上的各种因素都会导致价格的浮动。报价中的价格会因文化差异而不一样，例如美国商人为了能尽快完成交易，他们的初次报价与实际价格很接近，但巴西商人就不一样了，他们希望议价的时间长一些，所以他们的初次报价往往会比较大胆，然后双方就通过讨价还价的方式来确定最后的价格。
