以什么为例（illustration）
illustrate在写作中运用极其广泛，它由前缀il（进入）和词根luster（照明）构成，因此当描述“使清楚明白”的时候通常都可用这个单词；常翻译成“阐述，说明，描述”等意思。比如，某个图片清楚显示出什么，英语可以表述为：The graph/chart/diagram illustrates...; 当表达“最好的例子就是……”时，英语可以表述为：It is best illustrated by...。
