Note for Compilation

With the further development of internationalization of Chinese medicine,the education of Chinese medicine is flourishing around the globe.In order to promote the improvement of world Chinese medicine education cause,to ensure the smooth implementation of World Standard of Chinese Medicine Undergraduate (Pre-CMD) Education [ Shì Jiè Zhōng Yī Xué Běn Kē (CMD Qián) Jiào Yù Biāo Zhǔn ,世界中医学本科(CMD前)教育标准] and the education standard of World Core Curriculum for Chinese Medicine ( Shì Jiè Zhōng Yī Xué Zhuān Yè Hé Xīn Kè Chéng ,世界中医学专业核心课程),Educational Instruction Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies(EIC-WFCMS) and China Press of Traditional Chinese Medicine compiled Pediatrics in Chinese Medicine ,the first world textbook for Chinese Medicine Core Curriculum.

This textbook is compiled by 20 experts from 18 colleges and universities at home and abroad after translating and reading Pediatrics in Chinese Medicine published in foreign countries and comparing with the textbooks published in China.This textbook is applied to overseas students from different countries and regions,who are educated in Chinese medicine,as well as overseas students in Chinese medicine colleges.It also provides reference for bilingual teachers and students and the vast majority of Chinese medicine fans.Its characteristics are:

●　International.In terms of disease selection,content compilation and language,the book is easy to understand,translate and grasp,meets the needs of international students,and adapts to international application.

●　Scientific,systematic and complete.Especially Part 1 falls into 4 chapters: Origin of Chinese medicine Pediatrics,Physiological,Pathological and Etiological Characteristics,Growth Development and Health Care,and Overview of Clinical Syndrome,focusing on the development history and the basic theory of Pediatrics,highlighting the advantages and characteristics of Chinese medicine pediatrics,and emphasizing on awareness of producing choice quality works.

●　Clinically practical.As a major clinical course of World Chinese medicine,this book emphasizes the close relationship between theory and practice.The contents compiled are relevant to clinical practice,easy to learn and practical in clinics,and fully reflect the clinical practicability.

●　Appropriate depth and breadth.Taking full account of the practical foundation,learning characteristics and acceptance ability of international students,it does not exceed the scope of the domestic undergraduate teaching materials,simple,acquirable and practical.
