一、介词的种类

1. 简单介词、合成介词、带-ing的介词和短语介词

从词形上看，介词可以分为下面四类：

简单介词 （simple prepositions） ：

短语介词 （phrasal prepositions）：

按意思分类，介词可以分为下面三类：

表示时间的介词：

I got there at about 8 o’clock . 我于八点左右到达那里。

The Grand Prix is to be held here on the 5th of April . 汽车大奖赛 4 月5 日将在这里举行。

Around nine o’clock he came back. 九点前后他回来了。

He swims every day during summer . 夏天他天天游泳。

Shortly after that , the police arrived. 在那之后不久警察来了。
