三百六十行，行行出状元，行行都有绝招。美国的一位理发师沃伦特·刘易斯就练成了一手绝活儿——不用刀剪，火烧平头。70多岁的沃伦特·刘易斯家住田纳西州的孟菲斯市，在当地可以说是大名鼎鼎，无人不知。他的理发馆已经开了50多年，火烧平头的绝招也越练越精，尤其让人称道的是，他的安全记录良好，只发生过一次小意外。由于理发方式新奇，又有安全保证，好奇者纷纷赶来，想亲身体验这种不同的感觉。刘易斯称，以火理发的灵感来自他小时候看到母亲用火去除鸡毛，他当时就想，为什么人不能用火理发呢？后来几经摸索，他终于练成了这手绝活儿。刘易斯说，用火烧不但干净省事，而且做成的发型更持久。刘易斯表示，拿起剪刀，他肯定不是最棒的，不过，火烧平头可是他的拿手绝招，他希望自己能凭着这一招成为田纳西州最知名的理发师。五十年来沃伦特只失手过一次，当时因为客人的发胶太多，整个头都烧了起来。沃伦特称他是田纳西州最红的理发师，因为他的这套绝技实在太“烫手”了。
