伦敦的地铁：
英国伦敦的地铁1856年开始建设，1863年正式通车，是世界上最古老的地铁。在伦敦乘地铁，最普遍的一种方式是用牡蛎卡（Oyster Card），类似我们的公交卡。可以用它来乘地铁，也可以乘公交车。

在希腊乘船，船票在游船公司网站和当地旅行社都可以购买。在当地旅行社买船票不用付手续费，而是按照船票上的原价支付，在游船公司的网站预订船票也不需要支付额外的预订费。如果不是旺季，建议在出发前两三天，在当地代理旅行社购买船票就可以了；而如果是旺季，又是热门路线，则需要提前至少三个月预订。订票的条件也很严苛，采用实名制，不能退或改票，需提供乘客全名和信用卡的信息，然后凭订单号码、信用卡和护照到该公司的任何一个取票点取票。
如果在网站查询班次，发现上面写着有些班次没开，其实不一定真的没开！因为有许多航行在小岛之间的班次，不是由大型的船运公司控制，而是由私人渔船或者较小的渔船改装而成的渡轮。这些渡轮基本只在旺季行驶，所以不会出现在查询网站上，而且如果班次查询网站没有得到船运公司代理授权，也无法查到这些公司的航班信息。
在网上订票时，要注意区分岛屿名与港口名。港口的名字和城市的名字经常不一样，而且一个城市可能有好几个港口，例如雅典有两个常用的港口，分别是Piraeus和Rafina，而圣托里尼的旧港口叫Thira，新港口叫Athinios。这些都是要注意的地方！
