It is a specific metal round tool about 6cm in diameter and 2cm in height which is hollow inside without a bottom. There are several round holes on the top surface to position the moxa cones. These cones will be burned simultaneously during the moxibustion treatment. The moxa cone apparatus can be held or put on the acupoint (Figure C6).
