Make a cake of yellow rice wine and brown bean powder of 2 ～ 3cm in diameter and 0.5 ～ 0.8cm inthickness. Pierce several holes in the cake with a needle. Place a bean-cake on the acupoint or diseased area, place a moxa cone on the cake and light it. When the cone burns out, replace it with another one until completion of treatment. This method is frequently used in case of carbuncle and gangrene on back at the early stage or chronic ulcerations.
