wonderful none golden deal rich
THE MAN WAS GROWING RICH.
A man once had a goose. She looked like any other goose, but she was a wonderful bird. Every day she laid an egg of shining gold.
The man was growing rich, but not so fast as he wished. He wanted to have a great deal of gold all at once. Then he would never have to do any more work.
“I am sure,” he said to himself, “there must be a great many eggs inside my goose. I think she must be all gold inside.”
So one day he killed her.
But when he looked for the gold, there was none to be seen. And that was the end of his goose and her golden eggs.
有个人有只鹅。虽然这只鹅看起来很普通，却很神奇，她每天都会下一个金蛋。
这个人渐渐富有起来，可他嫌富得还不够快，想要一次得到很多金子，这样他就再也不用工作了。
他说：“我敢肯定鹅肚子里有很多蛋，而且全部都是金的。”
有一天他就把鹅给杀了。
他找来找去，鹅肚子里什么都没有，他却就此永远失去了鹅和那些金蛋。
