酒店服务小知识

中午 12 点结账退房是酒店行业内通用的国际惯例,超过中午 12 点结账,就要加收房费,为此很多消费者感到不满。因为如果住宿不满 24 小时也要中午 12 点结账,并且按一天收费,这对消费者来说显然不公平。而且午餐时间一般是 11 点半到 12 点半,结账时间正好卡在中间,这让很多客人不得不拎着行李就餐。

在美国,位于纽约时代广场附近的威斯汀酒店、威灵顿酒店,以及不远处的巴克莱洲际酒店,其入住时间均为下午 3 点,而结账时间无一例外均为中午 12 点。中间的空档期则是打扫、整理房间的时间,如果 12 点不退房,一般要另交半天房费。

在英国伦敦,惯例是下午 2 点入住,中午 12 点结账,入住时间略微提前,但结账时间依然是 12 点。位于伦敦肯圣盾广场的假日酒店和索菲特圣詹姆士酒店如果 12 点不退房,则要适当收费;伦敦斯马特卡姆登旅馆的规定是,延迟退房需多交 10 英镑,大约相当于半天房费。

澳大利亚不仅在地理位置上距欧美很远,在旅馆的规矩上也不太一样。在悉尼,入住时间一般为下午 2 点,而结账时间竟然是上午 10 点或 11 点,比 12 点更加“苛刻”。在悉尼中心商务区的悉尼达令港诺福特饭店和假日旅馆等都是如此,如果到点不退房,就要另交半天房租。悉尼米纳尔花园酒店规定,最晚早 10 点结账,如果房间另有预订,则 10 点必须拎包走人,如果没有预订,则可以最晚下午 6 点结账,但需要另外支付半天房费。
