你好，请来张两人桌子。
一、在餐厅，常常会听到服务员问：
Have you got a table for two, please?
请问您有两个人的桌子吗？
Have you booked a table?
您预订餐桌了吗?
Have you made a reservation?
您预订了吗?
Smoking or non-smoking?
吸烟区还是非吸烟区?
Would you like something to drink?
您想喝什么?
Would you like to see the menu?
您需要看菜单吗?
特别要注意的是：“订餐”在英文中有两种说法，即to book a table和to make a reservation。在很多国家，餐厅一般划分为吸烟区和非吸烟区。一进餐厅，服务员会主动征询客人的意见，然后引领客人前往所选择的区域就餐。
二、顾客会询问：
Are there any specials going on today?
今天又什么特价菜吗？
What drinks are on the menu?
菜单上有什么饮料？
Do you serve alcohol?
你们提供酒水吗？
Could we have some cheese sticks as an appetizer?

一、评价食物好与坏还有几种表达：

二、描述食物的口味：
It is too hot.

好酸呢。
It's a bit bitter.
有点苦。
三、对餐厅的评价
Well, the service was excellent.
服务非常不错。
The atmosphere was great.
环境幽雅。
The meal was a bit pricey.
饭菜有点贵。
I suppose it was quite expensive.
我觉得非常贵。
But the food was absolutely delicious.
