Passage 3
This place is really amazing. After we drank some coconut milk, we continued to explore the island, and we found some very interesting things. I went to look for fresh water. I walked into the island and heard the sound of running water. I continued to push myself through the trees and leaves and I discovered that this island has a small mountain in the center. The running water that I heard was the sound of a waterfall! It is amazing! And the water is fresh!
I ran out of the jungle and found the other three. I was running so fast and was so excited that I almost couldn’t talk. “Guys! Guys! Guess what I found!” I said to them. “What? What did you find?” they all asked. “Did you find water?” “Yes but I found more than water. I found a huge waterfall!”
“Really? That’s amazing! I found some fresh bananas and Lisa caught four fish, too,” Maggie said to me. “Let’s go to the waterfall, cook the fish, eat the bananas, drink the coconut milk, and go for a swim.” “That’s a great idea!” we all agreed.
这个地方真是太神奇了！我们喝了椰汁之后，继续探索这座岛，发现了一些非常有意思的东西。我去寻找淡水，朝岛屿深处走去，听见了流水的声音。我继续艰难地穿过树枝树叶，发现岛中央有一座小山。我听见的流水声居然是一个瀑布的声音！这太神奇了！而且这水是淡水！
我跑出丛林，找到了其他三个人。我跑得太快了，心情太激动了，几乎都说不出话来。“各位！各位！猜猜我找到什么了！”我对他们说。“什么？你找到什么了？”他们异口同声地问道。“你是找到水了吗？”“是的，不过不只是水，我找到了一个大瀑布！”
“真的？太棒了！我找到了一些新鲜香蕉，莉萨还抓了四条鱼。”玛吉对我说。“我们去瀑布吧，烤鱼，吃香蕉，喝椰汁，再游个泳，怎么样？”“真是个好主意！”我们一致赞同。
