There are twelve months in a year. The first month is January. The second is february. The last is December.
four months of the year have thirty days each. Seven other months have thirty-one days each. february，the second month of the year，has twenty-eight days，except in leap year. february in leap year has one day more.
March is the first spring month. The other spring months are April and May. The summer months are June，July，and August. The autumn months are September，October，and November. The winter months are December，January，and february.

We say : the 1st (=first) of May，the 2nd (=second) of May，the 3rd (=third) of May，the 4th (=fourth) of May，the 5th (=fifth) of May，and so on.
