A sitting room
This is a family in the sitting room.
The father is reading. He is sitting in his chair. The mother is sitting in her chair. The girl is sitting also. The boy is standing.
This sitting room has one door,two windows,and four walls. Can you see them? Can you see the celling? Can you see the floor? Is there a table in the room?
Point to the ceiling of our room. Point to the floor of our room. Point to the wall on your left hand. Point to the wall on your right hand.
How many windows has our room? What do you do with the windows? (Answer: I open and close them.)
How many doors has our room? What do you do with a door? (Answer: I open and close a door.)
I am writing.
You are writing.
He is writing.
She is writing.
We are writing.
You are writing.
They are writing.
We are in our classroom.
I am the teacher. You are the pupils. I am sitting in a chair. You are sitting on your benches.
I am reading a book. I am reading with you. I am here to teach you how to read. I also teach you how to write.
I am writing on a blackboard. Here is a short sentence.Can you see it? Read it.
Come here. Copy this sentence on the blackboard.
Go and sit down.
Now let me tell you to do a few things:
1. Read the sentences on page 22.
2. Count the boys and the girls in this room.
3. Tell me your name. (One boy only.)
4. Point to the blackboard.
5. Stand up,boys and girls.
6. Right hand up. Left hand up.
7. Both hands down.
8. Sit down.
9. Open that door. (One boy only.)
10. Shut the door.
