Let me tell you something about parents and children.
A father is a parent. A mother is a parent. The father and the mother are the parents.
A son is a child. A daughter is a child. The son and the daughter are the children.
How many children have the Blacksons? (See Lesson 12.) Are they all boys?
The name of the Blacksons'boy is John，and that
of their girl is Mary. John is the brother of Mary. Mary is the sister of John. The brother loves his sister. The sister loves her brother. They love their parents，and their parents love them.
I love you.
You love me.
He loves his sisters.
She loves her brothers.
We love our parents.
You love your parents.
They love their children.
What is a family made up of ?
A family is made up of the parents and the children.
Some families are large. Some families are small.
Our family is a large one. There are eight persons in our family––my grandparents，my parents，my sisters，and I.
I have three sisters. I am the only son.
We live in a big house. It is a very good house. It is new. It is our own house.
My father is a school-teacher. He is forty years old. My mother is thirty-nine. My grand-parents are very old. My grandfather is seventy，and my grandmother is seventy-one.
In our house there are many rooms. In all the rooms there are pictures，chairs，tables，and so on. In one room there are about one thousand books.

You live in a house.
He lives in a house.
She lives in a house.
We live in our houses.
You live in your houses.
They live in their houses.
