就座（Seating）：
1 客人一般由主人（host）引领入座。如果没有告示牌明示，最好先站着等候而非贸然入座，坐错位置。
2 聚餐晚宴，最好由男伴护送女士先入座，而不是男的自己抢先入座。
就餐（Eating）：
1 开始用餐前，最好熟悉一下餐桌的布置（table settings）（碟盘、银餐具）。注意，你左手边上的碟盘（放面包，黄油，甜品）是你的，右手边上的饮品是你的。用错邻座的餐具或杯子是非常令人难堪的。
2 美式西餐，右手拿刀切食物，左手拿餐叉辅助，然后右手拿过餐叉食用食物。
