1.travel on business 因公事出差，出公差，后面可以加交通方式，例如travel on business by plane/train/bus/ship.另外，on business指因为公事，所以还可以构成其他短语像fly to somewhere on business或be away on business.
2.be impressed by sb./sth.指对某人某物或某事印象深刻。impressed可以由副词much修饰，表示程度深，"留下非常深刻的印象"。例如:The tourists are much impressed by the beauty of New York.纽约的美丽给游客们留下了非常深刻的印象。
3.be known for 因……出名，相当于短语be famous for.例如:China is known/famous for its tradition of drinking tea.中国因饮茶的传统而闻名。

7.make an inquiry 商业中的询盘，多指交易双方中的买方在准备购买某种商品时，向对方询问该商品的规格，品质，数量，价格，包装，装运以及索取样品等；make an offer则是与询盘相对的发盘，也叫报盘，多指卖方根据买方的要求，告知买方交易条件，包括买方询问的商品的规格，品质，数量，价格，包装，装运以及样品等。
8.A lot of business will be conducted.business 可以与conduct或do搭配，表示做生意。例如:The two companies have been doing business with each other for a long time.这两家公司已经一起做生意很长时间了。
9.I hope everything would be smooth.希望一切顺利。这里从句中用了虚拟语气，是对未来还没有成为现实的事情的假设。smooth原意指事物光滑，指事情时则指事情顺利。

Boss Wants Too Much
