Lesson 30

Len had an old tennis ball.

As we went by the park, he let it fall from the car.

A small dog made a dart at it, but a tall boy ran and picked it up for Len.

Then the dog ran after the car barking.

Father said, “Call the dog off!”

So the boy called, “Buff, Buff!”

He hid by a brick wall.

The dog ran to him, and licked his hands.

The boy held his arms for his dog to jump over.

He kept the dog doing tricks until the car was a long way off.

I had a little dog, and they call him Buff,

I sent him to the shop for a bag of snuff,

But he lost the bag, and spilt the snuff;

Then the poor little dog ran off in a huff. VzSqJ3Fnb1rSeveCn9jOw8JreUqAr1w78FdRh/i32YqLiOyOkMSyhUH64Dqhz86Q
