This morning, Mommy, Daddy and I talked about some things we want to do before we leave Beijing. Of course, we have to pack. But we also want to have fun saying goodbye. To start with, we ate breakfast at our favorite breakfast shop. I ordered soy milk, turnip cakes, fan tuan, and fried bread sticks. Mommy said that MY EYES WERE BIGGER THAN MY STOMACH. This was my last chance to eat a Chinese breakfast, so of course I ordered a lot. They were good and salty. Mommy says Americans like to eat sweet things for breakfast. Why would they do that? I would also like to have an Angry Birds cake before I go. But not for breakfast! We might have to take our own food along when we move. I wonder if I will get used to living in a new place.

今天上午老妈、老爸和我在聊离开北京之前，我们还想要做的事情。当然，我们必须先打包好。但是，我们也希望开心地说再见。首先，我们在我们最爱的早餐店吃早餐。我点了豆浆、萝卜糕、饭团和油条。妈妈说，我的眼睛比我的胃还大（太贪心啦）。这是我最后一个机会吃中国的早餐了，所以我当然要点很多啊。早餐非常好吃而且咸咸的。妈妈说，美国人喜欢吃甜的东西当早餐。为什么他们会这么做呢？在我走之前，我也想吃一个愤怒小鸟蛋糕。但不是当早餐哦！当我们搬去美国时，我们可能要带我们自己的食物去。我真不知道，我是不是可以适应新生活。
小朋友，早餐你喜欢吃甜的还是咸的呢？中西饮食文化大不同，真的会让人一时无法适应呢！Melvin非常担心，该怎么办呢？

Today, I had to make goodbye cards for my best friends. Mommy said to choose five, but how can I choose only five when I have SO MANY! I have friends from the park, friends on my street, friends in my building, and my cousins. You know, I'm pretty popular. But I could only choose five. QueQue likes Angry Birds, so I drew an Angry Bird in red because that's her favorite color. Shuen likes bananas and riding his bike. I drew a picture of us riding banana bikes. Doris likes to read books, so I drew a picture of the two of us reading books. Junchi and Xiaosong like to play at the park. In their pictures, we are swinging together at the park. My mom said they will love my pictures. They will remind them of fun times we had together. GUYS, I WILL MISS YOU A LOT!

今天我得做告别卡片给我的好友们。妈妈说只能选五张，但我怎么能只选择五张，我有这么多的好朋友！我有公园的好友、街坊的好友、楼上楼下的好友，还有我的表兄弟们。你知道我是很受欢迎的嘛。但是，唉！我就只能选择五张耶。雀雀喜欢“愤怒小鸟”，所以我画了只红色的愤怒小鸟，因为那是她最喜欢的颜色。轩轩喜欢香蕉和骑自行车，所以我就画了一张我们骑香蕉自行车的画。桃瑞丝喜欢看书，所以我画了一张我们两个一起看书的画。骏驰和小淞喜欢在公园玩。在他们的卡片中，我们在公园一起玩荡秋千。老妈说他们一定会喜欢我的卡片。这会让他们想起我们在一起的欢乐时光。大伙们，我会想念你们的！
Melvin不想跟他的好朋友说再见，他不知道搬到美国之后该跟谁一起玩耍、一起去外头探险呢？
