形态特征:体呈纺锤形。腹扁平。体被 5行骨板,背部 1行,体侧和腹侧各 2行,骨板的行间常有微小骨颗粒。口位于头的腹面,呈管状伸缩。唇有皱褶,形似花瓣,口前方具须 2对。吻的腹面、须的前方有 7个疣状突起,故名七粒浮子。尾为歪型尾。背鳍 38~55;臀鳍 21~30;背骨板 11~17;侧骨板 32~47;腹骨板 7~14。背部为黑褐色或灰棕色,腹部银白色。
生态习性:系动物食性鱼类,成鱼以水生昆虫、软体动物、底栖甲壳类为食。经人工驯养的史氏鲟可食人工配合饲料。开口摄食水温为 4℃,摄食最佳水温为 18℃~22℃。9~10龄性成熟,成熟个体体重在 6kg左右。
地理分布:分布于黑龙江水系。20世纪90年代引入宁夏。
经济价值:名贵食用经济鱼类。

MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Spindle shaped body; flat abdomen; body is cov-ered with five rows of bone lamella, one row is on back, and two rows are on body and abdomen side separetly, and micro bone grains are always among the bone lamella; mouth is in the pronesurface of head, which likes strecching tube; the plications are on the lips, which like a petal, and two pairs of beard is ahead of mouth; there are seven verrucose evections on the pronesurface and in front of beard, so it is called Qilifuzi; its tail is heterocercal tail; dorsal fin 38~55;anal fin 21 ~30;back bone lamella 11 ~17;side bone lamella 32~47; abdomen bone lamella 7~14; its back is black brown or grey brown; abdomen is silvery white.
ECOLOGICAL HABITS:It is a flesh -eater, and aquatic insects, mollusk, bottomliving crus-tacean are its food. The cultured AmurSturgeon may have artificial mixed feed; at the water temperature of 4℃, it starts to eat; the optimal water temperature for eating is 18~22℃; it matured at age of 9~10, and the weight of matured adult is around 6kg.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: It is distributed in Heilongjiang and was introducted in Ningxia in 1990's.
ECONOMIC VALUE:It is a precious famous commercial fish for table purpose.
