有关购物的小知识
1．人们生活中离不开购物，购物是在店员和顾客之间进行的。使用购物用语要注意礼貌。
2．英美国家的商店与国内大不相同，除规模较大的连锁店外（chain shops），还有超级市场(supermarket或hypermarket)以及规模适中的杂货店（grocery），也有折价商店（discount shop）和旧货店(second-hand shop)。
3．当顾客嫌贵时，可以解释说：This is a reasonable price.（这个价格比较合理。）/It's our standard price.（这是我们的标准价格。）有趣的是，不同的国家标价习俗各有不同，我国的尾数一般为“8”，而英国的尾数一般为“9”。
4．国外商店也经常打折销售，常见的标志有：On Sale降价销售（主要用于美国）；Half Price半价销售；30% Off降价30％即打7折；Buy One, Get One买一赠一；Christmas Discount圣诞节打折销售。
