Horror! Horror! The second half of the apocalypse, Brando's image has been overwhelming...... So what I think of when I read a book is the picture of the movie. Look at the translation of wisdom, the original should be a lot of color. However, the text gives people the feeling is always so special, great darkness, great sin, a nameless wild force, inspire a metaphysical sense of death. It can be said that Conrad has always been a vague in the book, never facing the heavy power, but that is where he succeeds. We seem to see death and vice because of this ambiguity, and more as if we saw the truth of the world and the mystery of life. Sure, who can? But it seems to be enough.
