- “诗经”是中国最早的一部诗歌总集，约成书于春秋时期，先秦时期称“诗”，又称“诗三百”或“三百篇”，它收集了自西周初年至春秋中叶大约五百多年的305篇诗歌。西汉时被尊为儒家经典，始称“诗经”，并沿用至今。本书为“诗经”第二部分“雅”，主要是宫廷宴享或朝会时的乐歌，按音乐的不同又分为“大雅”31篇，“小雅”74篇，共105篇。除“小雅”中有少量民歌外，大部分是贵族文人的作品。

- “平山冷燕”又名“四才子书”，是明末清初小说中较有影响的一部作品。是刊行于清初的一部流传甚广，影响颇大的才子佳人小说，鲁迅的“中国小说史略”曾予以详细介绍，认为它的主旨是“显扬女子，颂其异能，又颇薄制艺而尚词华，重俊髦而嗤俗士”。为中国古典名著。现在能见到的最早版本是顺治十五年（1658年）由天花藏主人作序的“新刻批评平山冷燕”，现存于大连图书馆。此外，尚有聚锦堂刊天花藏七才子书本及退思堂刊天花藏七才子书本、玉兰堂本、静寄山堂本等。清初曾译成满文，后又被译成法文，介绍到欧洲。
